The food is delicious! In the Pub meals are nicely prepared and well priced. Staff all seem to be new so a bit of confusion sometimes. Very friendly and helpful. If you stay, rooms basic but a nicely equipped kitchenette and the whole building is spotless and charming. No heat upstairs but each room has a little heater.Dont let that put you off. I'll be back!

Excellent atmosphere, excellent food and exceptional staff. The pricing is what you would normally expect to pay for a normal countermeal but what you get for your money is great, large plates of well cooked traditional pub food. Make sure to have a good look around the place to the walls show an amazing nautical history and it's worth taking the time to check it out.

Very good, I would highly recommend this hotel. The is fantastic, try the pork belly it's no1. Great overnight accommodation as well. Tom the manager is a great character.

The food was very good. We enjoyed the quality and presentation of our lamb and fish. Presentation was very good for a pub meal. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and valued. It was service that would be appreciated in a good restaurant. The ambience was olde world particularly appropriate for a historic hotel.
