Built in 1902, Kurrara Historic Guest House is recognised as the longest continually running guest house in Katoomba. Back then, Kurrara was run by Mrs. Wilkins, the proprietress as a 'first class establishment' and travellers could stay for the princely sum of six shillings per night. Kurrara is a beautiful heritage house offering eight guest rooms and a glimpse into the past. The peaceful and relaxing ambience offers visitors a chance to unwind in a turn of the century residence, with all the modern comforts.
Conveniently located midway between Katoomba Town Centre and Echo Point, Kurrara is surrounded by mature gardens, in a quiet street away from traffic noise but within walking distance to popular restaurants and famous bushwalks.
