Following a passion for wine and food, Queensland entrepreneur Terry Morris visited the Granite Belt wine region and learnt of its unique terroir and climate known for producing outstanding wine, sparking his vision for Sirromet. Ideally located at Mount Cotton, just 30 minutes from the iconic Gold Coast and Brisbane airport, the winery is set over 560 acres and is surrounded by natural bush land, with breath taking views over Moreton Bay. Sirromet’s Chief winemaker and 2017 Australian Winemaker of the year Mike Hayes and team produce award-winning Granite Belt wines. Visitors can taste and learn more about these award-winning wines at the Cellar Door. The same philosophy Sirromet have in pursuit of winemaking excellence extends to their onsite restaurants. Reminiscent of Tuscany, the Tuscan Terrace, delivers wonderful seasonal flavours, prepared in traditional home-cooked Tuscan style.
