Take a leisurely walk along the famous Busselton Jetty, the longest timber pile jetty in the southern hemisphere stretching 1.8km out into picturesque Geographe Bay.

Day 3: Forest, Cave & Lighthouse Tour

Stop At: Redgate Beach, Redgate Road, Margaret River, Western Australia 6285 Australia
Hear stories of shipwrecks and prison breaks along this long and wild coastal stretch, before heading through the tall trees on a scenic drive.

Duration: 15 minutes

Stop At: Mammoth Cave, Caves Rd Just 15 minutes drive south of Margaret River, along Caves Rd., Boranup, Margaret River, Western Australia 6286 Australia
There’s over 200 known caves in the Margaret River region, stretching from Cape Naturaliste in the north to Cape Leeuwin in the south, and today we head underground on a tour through the Mammoth Cave.

Following our cave adventure we drive through the majestic Boranup Forest, where we’ll take photos of the giant karri trees.

We stop at Boranup Gallery showcasing beautiful and creative wood designs and furniture. Tea and coffee can be purchased at the Boranup Cafe – the homemade scones are a favourite!

Stop At: Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, Leeuwin Rd Leeuwin, Augusta, Western Australia 6290 Australia
Drive through Augusta and views of the Blackwood River before arriving at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia. For those who would like to climb, take a guided tour and learn the interesting history of the lighthouse.
Keep an eye out for whales – humpbacks, southern right and blue whales – as they migrate between Antarctica and the warmer waters of northern Western Australia.
